See Trash Shed Area for handling trash in camp.
Trash
Trash can be dropped at the Transfer Station on Loon Lake Rd. As residents of Davis Township, we can obtain windshield stickers. If you have a rental car, or arrive in different cars, you can make a mobile windshield sticker by applying the sticker to saran wrap and using scotch tape to temporarily tape it to a windshield.
Recycling
The Transfer Station accepts:
cardboard (corrugated and brown paper bags),
glass jars and bottles,
magazines (no plastic wraps),
metal cans (clean & remove labels),
high-grade paper (computer paper, windowless envelopes),
mixed paper (including drink boxes, gable top cartons, frozen food boxes, flat gray cardboard and Asian cardboard),
newspapers,
phone books,
#2 plastic (#2 HDPE natural and colored),
scrap metal,
used motor oil,

Fees are charged for: bulky wastes, tires, Freon appliances and demolition debris.
Returnables
Local charities collect returnable beverage containers for their deposit value. These are collected at the Transfer Station.
